(1) Right of Withdrawal
The customer has the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen (14) days from the day on which the customer or a third party named by the customer, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods. In the case of a single order for multiple goods delivered separately, or an order for goods delivered in multiple partial shipments or pieces, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which the customer or a third party named by the customer, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last good, partial shipment, or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform 14lakes at the following address
14lakes GmbH, Sulzbacherstrasse 16, 4820 Bad Ischl, Austria,
or by email: hello@14lakes.com
by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email) of the decision to withdraw from this contract.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send the communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
(2) Consequences of Withdrawal
If the customer withdraws from this contract, 14lakes shall reimburse all payments received from the customer, including delivery costs (provided that the contract is withdrawn with respect to the entire delivery and not just a part of it, and with the exception of additional costs resulting from the customer choosing a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by 14lakes), immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which notification of the withdrawal was received by 14lakes. For this reimbursement, 14lakes will use the same means of payment used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. In no case will the customer be charged any fees for this reimbursement. In the event that the payment method used for the original transaction is not available for reimbursement (e.g., cash on delivery, cash), reimbursement will be made by bank transfer to a bank account provided by the customer.
The customer must return or hand over the goods immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which they inform 14lakes of the withdrawal, to
14lakes GmbH, Sulzbacherstrasse 16, 4820 Bad Ischl, Austria
The deadline is met if the customer sends back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. 14lakes may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received back or until the customer has provided proof of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.
The customer shall bear the full cost of returning the goods.
The customer only has to pay for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
